Derek is a UK resident, has a full, clean driving license, passed 'O' levels in English and Maths and 'A' levels in Maths and Physics and gained a 1st class honours degree in Electronic, Computer and Systems Engineering from Loughborough University
His recent experience has been working for a contract engineering company in the commercial, defence and national security sector. This has comprised numerous and varied projects with durations from weeks to years working individually or in teams up to two dozen people. A variety of engineering roles have been undertaken including team leadership and customer facing. This style of working has required the continuous acquisition of new skills, often in some depth.
